What is the IQ Series Extract Refill Kit?

The Extract Refill Kit is the concentrate accessory bundle for the IQ2, IQC, and IQ3. It includes ceramic dosage pods and ceramic extract discs — the components needed to vaporize wax, shatter, or other concentrates in the IQ series' dry herb oven. Rather than loading concentrate directly onto the oven walls, the kit keeps everything inside a self-contained pod that drops in and lifts out clean.

What concentrates work with the IQ Series Extract Refill Kit?

The kit is designed for solid and semi-solid concentrates: wax, shatter, crumble, budder, and rosin. Very liquid concentrates like some live resins and sauces can run out of the extract disc. CO2 oil and distillate are too thin for this method — use a dedicated 510 cartridge device like the ARTIQ for liquid oil.

What temperature should I use for concentrates in the IQ2 or IQC?

Start at 320–360°F for wax and shatter — lower than you'd use for dry herb. Increase gradually in 10-degree increments until you find the sweet spot. Running concentrates too hot in a dry herb vaporizer produces harsh vapor and burns off terpenes. The IQ series' 1-degree temperature precision makes dialing in concentrate sessions significantly more controlled than devices with preset modes only.

How does this differ from buying the Ceramic Dosage Pods separately?

The Extract Refill Kit is a bundle of pods and extract discs together — everything needed to start using concentrates in one purchase. If you already have pods and only need replacement extract discs, or vice versa, the individual accessories are available separately. The kit is the better starting point for first-time concentrate use on the IQ series.
